Indigenous owned Female lead environment science team with a renewable focus.

Djookian is the Noongar word for sister. We are an indigenous owned equipment sales and rental business with a focus on sustainability. We specialise in renewable energy products designed to replace diesel generators in construction and mining applications.  Our team of technicians and engineers have an engineering first mindset, and we focus on delivering the cleanest and best value for money energy in off grid applications using a variety of innovative technologies.

Djookian is passionate about advocating for increasing the participation of women and indigenous team members in equipment rental and construction related industries. We will support a variety of women and indigenous focussed social causes and will strategically partner with subcontractors who share the same values. At Djookian we believe sustainability is an all encompassing principle. In order to develop a sustainable industry we must add value to the ecosystem that supports our industry. That ecosystem includes ensuring we add value to customers, staff, suppliers, other industry participants and the communities in which we operate

Djookian acknowledges our ancestors and Elders, past and present, whose wisdom, resilience, and strength continue to guide us.

We honour the deep connection our people have to the land, waters, and sky, and recognise the cultural knowledge and practices that have been passed down for generations. We are committed to reducing the carbon impacts on this land for future generations to come.

As we walk forward together, we extend our respect to all First Nations peoples and reaffirm our commitment to nurturing this heritage and building a future of respect and understanding for all.
